Privacy Policy
Last updated July 16, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Televox ("Televox", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both this website (televox.ai) and the Televox service — an AI-powered phone answering and calling platform for local businesses, operated at admin.televox.ai.
Who we are
Televox is a product of KISWAHTECH (PRIVATE) LIMITED, a company registered in Pakistan. Televox provides a voice-AI answering service: our software answers and places phone calls on behalf of our business customers, books appointments, and captures caller details. The service is directed at businesses in the United States. If you have any question about this policy, reach us through our contact page.
Data we collect on this website
The televox.ai website collects information in two ways:
- Forms you submit. Our contact and newsletter forms collect your email address and, optionally, your name, company, industry, and message. We store this in our database, tagged with which form you used, so we can respond to you and — if you subscribed — send you the content you asked for.
- Functional cookies and local storage only. We use a small amount of browser storage for functionality: your theme preference is kept in localStorage, and content editors who use our CMS preview receive a preview cookie. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site today. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
The "Try the demo" links on this site take you to the Televox application at admin.televox.ai. Anything you say to the demo agent is handled the same way as service data described below.
Data the service processes on behalf of our customers
When a business uses Televox to handle its phone calls, the service processes information about the people who call (or are called by) that business. This can include call audio, call recordings, transcripts, caller phone numbers, and structured details extracted from the conversation — for example a name, a callback number, or appointment details.
Our customers are the controllers of their callers’ data. Televox processes this information on the customer’s behalf, under their instructions, to operate the service. If you called a business that uses Televox and want to exercise rights over that data, the business you called is the right first point of contact; we will assist them in responding.
Call recording and consent
Calls are recorded and transcribed only when the customer’s workspace has recording enabled — recording is controlled per workspace. On outbound calls, the AI identifies itself as an automated assistant. Televox provides compliance controls including do-not-call (DNC) lists, calling-hour windows, and AI self-identification.
When recording is enabled, recordings and transcripts are stored in the customer’s workspace, where the customer can review and delete them. Some US states require consent from all parties before a call is recorded. Customers are responsible for enabling the disclosures and consent flows appropriate to where they operate; Televox provides the controls to do so.
SMS / text messages
The service sends transactional text messages on behalf of our customers — for example an appointment confirmation after a caller books a time, a follow-up a caller asked for, or a notification to the business’s own team that a caller requested a callback. These messages are sent because you interacted with a business that uses Televox (for example, by calling it and requesting a booking or callback) or because you are part of that business’s team.
No third-party marketing. Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and opt-in data are not shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from that number; reply HELP for help.
- Message frequency varies with your interactions (typically one confirmation per booking or request).
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
How we use data
- To provide and operate the service — answering and placing calls, transcribing them, and delivering results to the customer’s dashboard.
- To respond to inquiries submitted through this website and to send newsletter content you signed up for.
- To keep the service secure, reliable, and improving — for example, debugging call quality issues.
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Subprocessors
Televox relies on a small set of service providers ("subprocessors") to run the platform. Each receives only the data it needs to perform its function:
- LiveKit — real-time voice transport
- Deepgram — speech-to-text and text-to-speech
- OpenAI — language model that powers the AI’s responses
- Twilio — telephony and SMS
- Cal.com — appointment scheduling
- Supabase — database and storage, hosted on AWS in the us-east-1 region
- Vercel — website and application hosting
- Sanity — website content management
- Resend — transactional email (optional, when email notifications are enabled)
We will update this list when we add or replace a provider.
Retention
Call recordings, transcripts, and related service data are retained while the customer’s account is active, or until the customer deletes them or requests deletion. Marketing leads (contact and newsletter submissions) are kept until you ask to be removed, which you can do at any time via our contact page.
Security
We protect data with row-level security in our database, TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, HMAC-signed webhooks, and rate limiting. SOC 2 and HIPAA support are on our roadmap; we do not currently hold those certifications and do not claim them. See our security page for details on current controls.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by reaching out through our contact page. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights — we honor these requests for everyone, not only California residents.
The service is directed at customers in the United States. We do not currently offer an EU data processing agreement; if you are in the EU and have questions about your data, contact us before using the service.
Children
Neither this website nor the service is directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged more prominently on the site.
